Description

Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup daikon radish
  • 1 cup Japanese rice
  • 0.25 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 sheet nori seaweed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.25 cup eel sauce
  • 0.5 cup tempura shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 0.5 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare sushi rice by combining cooked rice, water, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a saucepan and cooking over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar and salt dissolve.
  2. Step 2: Allow rice to cool.
  3. Step 3: Prepare tempura shrimp according to package instructions.
  4. Step 4: Cut avocado into thin slices.
  5. Step 5: Assemble the dragon roll by spreading a thin layer of sushi rice onto the nori seaweed, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
  6. Step 6: Place tempura shrimp and avocado slices in the middle of the rice.
  7. Step 7: Roll the sushi using a bamboo sushi mat.
  8. Step 8: Slice the roll into 8 equal pieces.
  9. Step 9: Drizzle eel sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the roll.
