Description
Flaky croissant filled with scrambled eggs, crispy prosciutto, and melted Swiss cheese
Ingredients
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 4 large croissants
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: In a bowl, whisk eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
- Step 3: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add melted butter, then pour in egg mixture. Scramble eggs until cooked through.
- Step 4: Meanwhile, bake prosciutto slices in oven for 5 minutes, or until crispy.
- Step 5: Split croissants in half and toast until lightly browned.
- Step 6: Assemble sandwiches by spreading scrambled eggs on bottom half of croissant, topping with prosciutto, Swiss cheese, and finally the top half of the croissant.
