A classic sandwich inspired by Elvis Presley, featuring peanut butter, bananas, and honey on toasted bread
Ingredients
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 tsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Step 2: Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Step 3: Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet.
- Step 4: Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Step 5: Top the peanut butter with sliced banana.
- Step 6: Drizzle 1/2 teaspoon of honey on top of the banana.
- Step 7: Place the second slice of bread, butter-side up, on top of the banana.
- Step 8: Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the peanut butter is melted.
- Step 9: Flip the sandwich over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the other side is also golden brown.
