Description

A classic beef burger grilled to perfection with a hint of smokiness

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine beef mince, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well with your hands until just combined.
  3. Step 3: Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each part into a ball. Flatten each ball slightly into a patty.
  4. Step 4: Brush the grill with oil to prevent sticking. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  5. Step 5: While the burgers are cooking, toast the buns on the grill.
  6. Step 6: Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and ketchup on the bottom bun, followed by a cooked patty, a slice of cheese, a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and finally the top bun.
  7. Step 7: Serve immediately and enjoy!
