Ingredients

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup provolone cheese
  • 12 noodles lasagna
  • 0.5 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup parsley
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Olive oil
  • 1 cup basil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 onion

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Step 3: In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking into small pieces.
  4. Step 4: Add onion and garlic to skillet and cook until onion is translucent.
  5. Step 5: Stir in marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
  6. Step 6: In a large bowl, combine ricotta, Parmesan, and provolone cheese.
  7. Step 7: Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  8. Step 8: Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top of sauce.
  9. Step 9: Spread half of ricotta mixture over noodles.
  10. Step 10: Sprinkle with half of mozzarella cheese.
  11. Step 11: Repeat layers, starting with noodles, marinara sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
  12. Step 12: Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  13. Step 13: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  14. Step 14: Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
