Ingredients
- 2 tbsp rosemary
- 2 kg pork roast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 8 cloves garlic
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F)
- Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper
- Step 3: Rub the mixture all over the pork roast, making sure to coat evenly
- Step 4: Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat
- Step 5: Sear the pork roast until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes per side
- Step 6: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20 minutes per kilogram, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F)
- Step 7: Let the pork roast rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving
