Description
Crispy fried chicken wings tossed in a savory garlic parmesan sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 0.5 cup parsley
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 cup olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 cup parmesan cheese
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Step 3: Pour buttermilk into a separate large bowl.
- Step 4: Dredge chicken wings in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Step 5: Dip floured wings in buttermilk, making sure they are fully coated.
- Step 6: Dredge wings in flour mixture again, pressing coating onto wings to adhere.
- Step 7: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Step 8: Arrange wings on baking sheet in a single layer.
- Step 9: Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Step 10: Bake for 30 minutes.
- Step 11: While wings are baking, mix minced garlic and chopped parsley in a small bowl.
- Step 12: After 30 minutes, remove wings from oven and toss with garlic-parsley mixture.
- Step 13: Return wings to oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
