Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 4 ounces parmesan cheese
  • 1 large onion
  • 8 ounces gorgonzola cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 0.5 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • thyme

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) with a baking stone inside.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until yeast is activated.
  3. Step 3: Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Step 4: Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. Step 5: Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  6. Step 6: Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch (6 mm) and transfer it to a piece of parchment paper.
  7. Step 7: Caramelize the onions by cooking them in a pan with a little bit of oil over low heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
