Description
A classic salad from Greece, made with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, feta cheese, and olives, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper
- 1 block feta cheese
- 1 large cucumber
- 0.5 large red onion
- 0.25 cup Kalamata olives
- 4 large tomatoes
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 0.25 cup olive oil
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil and lemon juice.
- Step 3: Drizzle the dressing over the vegetables and toss to coat.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and pitted olives over the top of the salad.
- Step 5: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 6: Serve immediately.
