Description

A classic salad from Greece, made with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, feta cheese, and olives, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 block feta cheese
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 0.5 large red onion
  • 0.25 cup Kalamata olives
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion.
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil and lemon juice.
  3. Step 3: Drizzle the dressing over the vegetables and toss to coat.
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and pitted olives over the top of the salad.
  5. Step 5: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Step 6: Serve immediately.
