Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 pound green beans
  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 0.25 cup almonds

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Blanch green beans for 4-5 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced almonds and cook, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  3. Step 3: Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Step 4: Add blanched green beans to the skillet and toss to combine with almond mixture.
