Description

Ingredients
- Salt and pepper
- 1 pound green beans
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 0.25 cup almonds
Instructions
- Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Blanch green beans for 4-5 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced almonds and cook, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- Step 3: Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Step 4: Add blanched green beans to the skillet and toss to combine with almond mixture.
- Step 5: Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Serve hot.
