A flavorful and spicy twist on traditional fajitas, served in a warm pita bread

Ingredients

  • 0.5 pounds chicken breast
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 0.25 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 cup lime juice
  • 0.25 cup cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 large pita breads

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat grill to medium-high heat
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper
  3. Step 3: Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to coat
  4. Step 4: Grill the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through
