Description

Ingredients
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 0.5 cup Gruyère cheese
- 0.5 cup butter
- 0.5 cup ham
- 0.5 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons yeast
Instructions
- Step 1: In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Stir to dissolve yeast, then let sit for 5 minutes.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast mixture. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Step 3: Add softened butter and mix until dough comes together in a ball.
- Step 4: Knead dough for 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- Step 5: Roll out dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.
- Step 6: Cut into long, thin triangles.
- Step 7: Place a few slices of ham and a sprinkle of cheese at the base of each triangle.
