Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
- 0.5 cup butter
- 0.5 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Step 4: Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter should still be slightly lumpy.
- Step 5: Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the batter onto the preheated skillet or griddle.
