Description
A flavorful and satisfying Italian sub wrapped in a crispy sub roll
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup basil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 6 oz pepperoni
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper
- 6 oz salami
- 0.25 cup parsley
- 1 cup provolone cheese
- 1 12-inch sub roll
- 6 oz ham
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Slice the sub roll in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.
- Step 3: Arrange the salami, ham, and pepperoni slices on the bottom half of the sub roll.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the provolone cheese over the meats.
- Step 5: Drizzle the olive oil and red wine vinegar over the cheese.
- Step 6: Sprinkle the chopped basil, parsley, and dried oregano over the top.
- Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 8: Place the top half of the sub roll on the filling.
- Step 9: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
