Description

A flavorful and spicy wrap filled with marinated beef, kimchi slaw, and cilantro

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 0.25 cup Gochujang sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 pound beef
  • 0.5 cup green onions
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 2 tablespoons garlic
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk together Gochujang sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Step 2: Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired level of doneness. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.
  3. Step 3: In a medium bowl, combine kimchi, cilantro, and green onions.
  4. Step 4: Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Step 5: Assemble the wraps by spreading a spoonful of the kimchi slaw on each tortilla, followed by a few slices of the beef and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
