Description
A flavorful and spicy wrap filled with marinated beef, kimchi slaw, and cilantro
Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup cilantro
- 0.25 cup Gochujang sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 pound beef
- 0.5 cup green onions
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 2 tablespoons garlic
- 1 cup kimchi
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk together Gochujang sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Step 2: Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired level of doneness. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.
- Step 3: In a medium bowl, combine kimchi, cilantro, and green onions.
- Step 4: Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
- Step 5: Assemble the wraps by spreading a spoonful of the kimchi slaw on each tortilla, followed by a few slices of the beef and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
