  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. Step 2: Make the pastry dough by combining flour and salt in a bowl, then adding butter and using a pastry blender to work it into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs
  3. Step 3: Gradually add ice water, stirring with a fork until the dough comes together in a ball
