Description
Crispy fried chicken wings tossed in a zesty lemon pepper seasoning
Ingredients
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 lemons
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup lemon pepper seasoning
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Step 3: Toss the chicken wings in the flour mixture until coated.
- Step 4: Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes.
- Step 5: While the wings are baking, mix together melted butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a large bowl.
- Step 6: After 30 minutes, remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the lemon butter mixture until coated.
- Step 7: Sprinkle the lemon pepper seasoning over the wings and toss to coat.
- Step 8: Return the wings to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until crispy.
