Description
Classic Chinese stir-fried noodle dish
Ingredients
- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup carrots
- 1 cup chicken
- 1 cup cabbage
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 onion
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
- Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Step 3: Add the onion and garlic and stir-fry until the onion is translucent.
- Step 4: Add the cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 5: Add the cooked chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Step 6: Add the cooked noodles to the wok or frying pan, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until the noodles are well coated with the sauce.
- Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
