Description

Classic Chinese stir-fried noodle dish

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup chicken
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 onion

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Step 3: Add the onion and garlic and stir-fry until the onion is translucent.
  4. Step 4: Add the cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Add the cooked chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Add the cooked noodles to the wok or frying pan, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until the noodles are well coated with the sauce.
  7. Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
