Description
A mouth-watering platter of tortilla chips smothered in seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and creamy toppings
Ingredients
- 1 cup tomatoes
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 16 oz tortilla chips
- 0.25 cup cilantro
- 1 container sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 medium onion
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Step 2: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
- Step 3: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Step 4: Add the taco seasoning to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Step 5: Arrange the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Step 6: Spoon the seasoned ground beef over the tortilla chips.
- Step 7: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the top of the beef.
- Step 8: Bake the nachos in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Step 9: Remove the nachos from the oven and top with sour cream, diced tomatoes, diced cilantro, and diced jalapeno pepper.
- Step 10: Serve immediately and enjoy!
