Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup onion
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup bell pepper
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 4 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Step 3: Cut cold butter into flour mixture until crumbly.
  4. Step 4: Add buttermilk and stir until dough forms.
  5. Step 5: Turn dough onto floured surface and knead a few times.
  6. Step 6: Roll out dough to 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds.
  7. Step 7: Place on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
