Description
Crispy potato wedges loaded with melted cheddar, crispy bacon, and scallions
Ingredients
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 cup cheddar cheese
- 0.25 cup scallions
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 large potatoes
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 6 slices bacon
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Cut potatoes into 1-inch wedges.
- Step 3: In a bowl, toss potato wedges with vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange potatoes in a single layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy.
- Step 5: While potatoes are baking, cook bacon slices in a pan until crispy. Chop into bits.
- Step 6: Remove potatoes from oven and top each wedge with grated cheddar cheese, crispy bacon bits, and chopped scallions.
- Step 7: Return to oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
