Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 ounces ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup beef gravy
  • 1 cup Japanese-style short-grain rice

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cook the Japanese-style short-grain rice according to the package instructions.
  2. Step 2: Divide the cooked rice into 4 portions and shape each into a rectangle.
  3. Step 3: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Step 4: Form the ground beef into 4 patties and cook until browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Step 5: Transfer the cooked patties to a plate and set aside.
  6. Step 6: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and cook the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
