Description
Sweet and spicy chicken wings with a tropical twist
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 0.25 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 0.5 cup mango chutney
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 cup habanero pepper
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together mango chutney, habanero pepper, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Step 3: Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the mango habanero sauce.
- Step 4: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable oil. Arrange the wings on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Step 5: Bake for 30 minutes, then increase oven temperature to broil (high). Broil for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until wings are caramelized and cooked through.
- Step 6: Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
