Description
A traditional Thai dessert made with glutinous rice, fresh mango, and coconut milk
Ingredients
- 0.5 teaspoon pandan extract
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 2 mangos
- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 0.25 cups coconut milk
- 0.25 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Step 1: Rinse the glutinous rice thoroughly and soak it in water for at least 4 hours or overnight
- Step 2: Drain the water and combine the rice with coconut milk, sugar, salt, and pandan extract in a saucepan
- Step 3: Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the rice is cooked and creamy (about 15-20 minutes)
- Step 4: Transfer the cooked rice to a serving platter or individual plates
- Step 5: Arrange sliced mango on top of the sticky rice
