Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 large onion
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 500 g pork shoulder
- 0.25 cup maple syrup
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, sage, and cayenne pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.
- Step 3: Use your hands to shape the mixture into 8-10 sausage patties.
- Step 4: Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Step 5: In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup and brown sugar until smooth.
