Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 500 g pork shoulder
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, sage, and cayenne pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.
  3. Step 3: Use your hands to shape the mixture into 8-10 sausage patties.
  4. Step 4: Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
