Description

Sweet and savory breakfast sausage links smothered in a rich maple glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork sausage meat
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine sausage meat, brown sugar, mustard, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.
  3. Step 3: Use your hands to shape the mixture into 8-10 sausage links.
