Description

Breaded and fried veal cutlets topped with Marsala wine sauce and melted Parmesan cheese

Ingredients

  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • parsley
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cutlets veal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the breading station with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs
  2. Step 2: Season the veal cutlets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  3. Step 3: Dip the veal cutlets in the flour, then the eggs, and finally the breadcrumbs
  4. Step 4: Heat 1/2 cup of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and fry the breaded veal cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side
  5. Step 5: Transfer the fried veal cutlets to a baking dish
  6. Step 6: In the same skillet, add the Marsala wine and bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the pan for 1-2 minutes
  7. Step 7: Pour the Marsala sauce over the veal cutlets and top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese
  8. Step 8: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly
  9. Step 9: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley before serving
