Description
Breaded and fried veal cutlets topped with Marsala wine sauce and melted Parmesan cheese
Ingredients
- 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- parsley
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cutlets veal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the breading station with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs
- Step 2: Season the veal cutlets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
- Step 3: Dip the veal cutlets in the flour, then the eggs, and finally the breadcrumbs
- Step 4: Heat 1/2 cup of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and fry the breaded veal cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side
- Step 5: Transfer the fried veal cutlets to a baking dish
- Step 6: In the same skillet, add the Marsala wine and bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the pan for 1-2 minutes
- Step 7: Pour the Marsala sauce over the veal cutlets and top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese
- Step 8: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly
- Step 9: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley before serving
