Description
Tender and flavorful pork ribs smothered in a signature dry rub, slow-cooked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 racks pork ribs
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 0.5 cup dry rub
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together dry rub ingredients.
- Step 3: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- Step 4: Apply the dry rub evenly to both racks of ribs, making sure to coat all surfaces.
- Step 5: Place the ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone-side down.
- Step 6: Bake for 2 hours, then rotate the ribs and continue baking for an additional 1 1/2 hours.
- Step 7: After 3 1/2 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
