Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 racks pork ribs
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup dry rub

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together dry rub ingredients.
  3. Step 3: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  4. Step 4: Apply the dry rub evenly to both racks of ribs, making sure to coat all surfaces.
  5. Step 5: Place the ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone-side down.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 2 hours, then rotate the ribs and continue baking for an additional 1 1/2 hours.
  7. Step 7: After 3 1/2 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
