Ingredients
- Vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Step 2: In another dish, beat the eggs.
- Step 3: In a third dish, place the breadcrumbs.
- Step 4: Cut the mozzarella cheese into 1/2-inch thick sticks.
- Step 5: Dip each cheese stick into the flour mixture, then the eggs, and finally the breadcrumbs, coating evenly.
- Step 6: Heat about 1/2-inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 7: Fry the cheese sticks until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
