Description

Creamy mushroom and chicken pasta bake

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups mixed mushrooms
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 8 oz pasta

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Cook pasta al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. Step 3: In a skillet, sauté chicken in butter until cooked, then set aside.
  4. Step 4: In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms and garlic until tender.
  5. Step 5: Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Step 6: Add cooked pasta, chicken, and thyme to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Step 7: Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with additional Parmesan cheese.
  8. Step 8: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.
