Description
Creamy mushroom and chicken pasta bake
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups mixed mushrooms
- 0.5 cup butter
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 8 oz pasta
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: Cook pasta al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Step 3: In a skillet, sauté chicken in butter until cooked, then set aside.
- Step 4: In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms and garlic until tender.
- Step 5: Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Step 6: Add cooked pasta, chicken, and thyme to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 7: Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with additional Parmesan cheese.
- Step 8: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.
