Description

Crab cakes infused with the iconic Old Bay seasoning, served with a tangy remoulade sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup yellow onion
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Gently combine crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, parsley, lemon juice, and egg until well combined
  3. Step 3: Gently fold the mayonnaise mixture into the crab meat mixture until just combined
  4. Step 4: Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a round crab cake
  5. Step 5: Place the crab cakes on a plate or tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set
  6. Step 6: Heat the melted butter in a large skillet over medium heat
  7. Step 7: Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy
  8. Step 8: Serve immediately with remoulade sauce
