Description
Crab cakes infused with the iconic Old Bay seasoning, served with a tangy remoulade sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 lb crab meat
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 0.25 cup yellow onion
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 3 cloves garlic
Instructions
- Step 1: Gently combine crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl
- Step 2: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, parsley, lemon juice, and egg until well combined
- Step 3: Gently fold the mayonnaise mixture into the crab meat mixture until just combined
- Step 4: Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a round crab cake
- Step 5: Place the crab cakes on a plate or tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set
- Step 6: Heat the melted butter in a large skillet over medium heat
- Step 7: Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy
- Step 8: Serve immediately with remoulade sauce
