Ingredients
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 0.5 cup sugar
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 0.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, cream peanut butter and butter until smooth.
- Step 4: Gradually add sugars and beat until combined.
- Step 5: Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Step 6: Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Step 7: Stir in chocolate chips.
- Step 8: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie.
- Step 9: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- Step 10: Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
