Description

Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 cup light corn syrup
- 0.5 cup butter
- 0.5 cup pecans
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 0.5 cups water
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and 1 teaspoon sugar. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until frothy.
- Step 2: Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
- Step 3: Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Step 4: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Step 5: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Step 6: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a 1/4-inch thickness.
- Step 7: In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
