Description

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • 0.5 cup pine nuts
  • Salt
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Step 2: In a food processor, combine basil, garlic, and pine nuts. Process until well combined and slightly smooth.
  3. Step 3: With the processor running, slowly pour in olive oil through the top.
  4. Step 4: Add parmesan cheese and process until well combined.
  5. Step 5: Season with salt to taste.
  6. Step 6: Drain pasta and return to pot. Add pesto sauce and toss to combine.
