Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.33 cup pine nuts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cups basil leaves
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: Cook the bowtie, penne, and linguine pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Step 3: In a food processor, combine basil leaves, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, and garlic. Process until well combined.
  4. Step 4: With the processor running, slowly pour in the olive oil through the top. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Step 5: In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, pesto sauce, and reserved pasta water. Toss until the pasta is well coated.
  6. Step 6: Transfer the pasta to a baking dish and top with cherry tomatoes.
  7. Step 7: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cherry tomatoes start to release their juices.
