Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound prime rib roast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons thyme
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C)
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper
  3. Step 3: Rub the mixture all over the prime rib roast
  4. Step 4: Place the roast in a large roasting pan and put it in the oven
  5. Step 5: Roast for 15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare
