Description

A classic French quiche filled with spinach, feta, and creamy eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup feta cheese
  • 0.5 cup Gruyère cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 9-inch pie crust

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. Step 2: Roll out pie crust and place in a 9-inch tart pan
  3. Step 3: In a large skillet, sauté chopped spinach with 1 tablespoon of melted butter until wilted
  4. Step 4: In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salt, and pepper
  5. Step 5: Add grated feta and Gruyère cheese to the bowl and stir to combine
  6. Step 6: Add cooked spinach to the bowl and stir to combine
  7. Step 7: Pour egg mixture into the pie crust
  8. Step 8: Dot the top of the quiche with remaining 1 tablespoon of melted butter
  9. Step 9: Bake for 35-40 minutes or until edges are golden brown and center is set
