Description
A fusion twist on the classic burger, featuring a beef patty sandwiched between ramen noodle buns and topped with a fried egg.
Ingredients
- 4 leaves lettuce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.5 cup onion
- 4 slices tomato
- 1 cup daikon radish
- 1 package ramen noodles
- 0.25 cup scallions
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. Mix well with your hands until just combined.
- Step 3: Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each into a ball. Flatten each ball into a patty.
- Step 4: Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Step 5: While the burgers are cooking, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Step 6: In a small bowl, beat 2 eggs. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour in the eggs and scramble until cooked through.
- Step 7: To assemble the burgers, slice the cooked ramen noodles into thin strips and use as the buns. Place a cooked patty on each noodle bun, followed by a slice of cheese, a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and a few pieces of daikon radish.
- Step 8: Top each burger with a fried egg and serve immediately.
