Description
A classic sandwich filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- 8 oz corned beef
- 1 cup sauerkraut
- 8 slices rye bread
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a griddle or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
- Step 3: Place 2 slices of bread, butter-side down, on the griddle.
- Step 4: Top each slice with a slice of Swiss cheese, a few slices of corned beef, and a spoonful of sauerkraut.
- Step 5: Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Step 6: Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Step 7: Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the other side is also golden brown.
