Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 cup seasoning blend
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Step 2: Pour buttermilk into a separate large bowl.
- Step 3: Dip each chicken wing into the buttermilk, then coat in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Step 4: Heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a large pot to 350°F.
- Step 5: Fry the coated chicken wings in batches until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
- Step 6: Remove wings from oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Step 7: In a large bowl, toss fried wings with salt and vinegar seasoning blend and white vinegar until evenly coated.
- Step 8: Serve hot and enjoy!
