Description

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup sausage
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups flour
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Step 3: Add cold butter to dry ingredients and use a pastry blender or fingers to work into a crumbly mixture.
  4. Step 4: Add heavy cream and stir until dough comes together in a shaggy mass.
