Ingredients
- Salt and pepper
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 medium bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion
- 6 slices bread
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Step 2: Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up with a spoon, until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Step 3: Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Step 4: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and milk.
- Step 5: Add the bread cubes to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the egg mixture.
- Step 6: Add the cooked sausage mixture to the bowl and stir until well combined.
