Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.5 cups water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups mixed mushrooms
- 1 medium onion

- 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Step 3: Add olive oil, salt, and 2 cups of flour to the bowl. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Step 4: Gradually add the remaining 1 1/2 cups of flour, kneading the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Step 5: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Step 6: Punch down the dough and roll it out into a 12-inch circle.
- Step 7: Transfer the dough to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Step 8: Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Step 9: Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 10: Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.
- Step 11: Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Step 12: Spread the cooked sausage and mushroom mixture over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
- Step 13: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Step 14: Create 4 wells in the pizza and crack an egg into each well.
- Step 15: Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness.
