Description
Crispy and savory sesame-crusted chicken breast with a sweet and sticky sauce
Ingredients
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 0.5 cup sesame seeds
- 4 chicken breasts
- 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.25 cup honey
- 2 green onions
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a shallow dish, mix together sesame seeds, flour, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Step 3: Dip each chicken breast in the sesame seed mixture, coating evenly.
- Step 4: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned.
- Step 5: Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Step 6: In a small saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Step 7: Brush the sauce over the cooked chicken breasts and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
