Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 4 oz tuna steaks
  • 0.25 cup scallions
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a shallow dish, mix together sesame seeds, soy sauce, and garlic.
  3. Step 3: Coat each tuna steak with the sesame mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Step 4: Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Step 5: Sear the tuna steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the tuna reaches desired doneness.
