Description

Classic Italian dish with succulent shrimp, garlic, and herbs, served with linguine pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp (30g) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 0.25 cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 1 lb shrimp

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  4. Step 4: Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside. Add the white wine and lemon juice to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  5. Step 5: Return the shrimp to the skillet and stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  6. Step 6: Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine.
