Ingredients
- 0.5 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 0.5 cup water
- 1 cup Japanese short-grain rice
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 0.25 cup dill
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 cup scallions
- 1 sheet nori seaweed
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 8 ounces smoked salmon
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the sushi rice according to the package instructions, using the water, sugar, salt, and rice vinegar
- Step 2: Cut the smoked salmon into thin slices
- Step 3: In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, dill, and scallions
- Step 4: Cut the nori sheet into desired size for sushi
- Step 5: Lay a nori sheet flat and spread a thin layer of sushi rice onto it
- Step 6: Place a few slices of smoked salmon on top of the rice
- Step 7: Spread a layer of cream cheese mixture on top of the salmon
- Step 8: Roll the sushi using a bamboo sushi mat
- Step 9: Repeat the process until all ingredients are used up
- Step 10: Slice the sushi into individual pieces and serve
