Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 cup Japanese short-grain rice
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup dill
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup scallions
  • 1 sheet nori seaweed
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces smoked salmon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the sushi rice according to the package instructions, using the water, sugar, salt, and rice vinegar
  2. Step 2: Cut the smoked salmon into thin slices
  3. Step 3: In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, dill, and scallions
  4. Step 4: Cut the nori sheet into desired size for sushi
  5. Step 5: Lay a nori sheet flat and spread a thin layer of sushi rice onto it
  6. Step 6: Place a few slices of smoked salmon on top of the rice
  7. Step 7: Spread a layer of cream cheese mixture on top of the salmon
  8. Step 8: Roll the sushi using a bamboo sushi mat
  9. Step 9: Repeat the process until all ingredients are used up
  10. Step 10: Slice the sushi into individual pieces and serve
