Description
A flavorful and spicy Italian sub sandwich filled with salami, ham, pepperoni, and melted mozzarella cheese
Ingredients
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 lb Italian sub rolls
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 cup parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 oz pepperoni
- 6 oz salami
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 4 oz ham
- 0.25 cup basil
- 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Step 2: Slice the sub rolls in half lengthwise
- Step 3: In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes
- Step 4: Brush the mixture onto the cut side of the sub rolls
- Step 5: Layer the salami, ham, and pepperoni on the bottom half of the sub rolls
- Step 6: Top with shredded mozzarella cheese
- Step 7: Place the sub rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly
- Step 8: Top with chopped parsley and basil
- Step 9: Serve immediately
