Description
A refreshing and spicy Hawaiian-inspired poke bowl filled with sashimi-grade tuna, mixed greens, and crunchy macadamia nuts.
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup pickled ginger
- 0.25 cup green onions
- 0.25 cup spicy mayo
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 lb tuna
- 1 tsp ginger
- 0.25 cup carrots
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cups mixed greens
- 0.25 cup macadamia nuts
- 0.25 cup cucumber
- 0.25 cup pineapple
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and garlic.
- Step 2: Add the tuna pieces to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.
- Step 3: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Step 4: In a separate bowl, combine mixed greens, chopped green onions, diced cucumber, diced carrots, chopped macadamia nuts, pickled ginger, and diced pineapple.
- Step 5: Divide the mixed greens mixture among four bowls.
- Step 6: Remove the tuna from the marinade and place on top of the mixed greens.
- Step 7: Drizzle spicy mayo over the tuna and serve immediately.
