Description
Jumbo pasta shells filled with a creamy spinach and ricotta mixture, baked until golden brown
Ingredients
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: Cook pasta shells according to package instructions, then set aside.
- Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Step 4: Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture, placing them in a baking dish as you go.
- Step 5: Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Step 6: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Step 7: Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
