Ingredients

  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Cook pasta shells according to package instructions, then set aside.
  3. Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Step 4: Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture, placing them in a baking dish as you go.
  5. Step 5: Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Step 6: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
